[Bearbeiten] Bot flag
I've added this bot to Wikiversity:Bots, for the bot flag you can ask Benutzer:Frank Schulenburg -- MichaelFrey 11:11, 11. Aug. 2007 (CEST)
- Ok, thanks for this .Crochet.david.bot 10:18, 13. Aug. 2007 (CEST)
Crochet.david 20:41, 15. Jun. 2008 (CEST)
- Salut David, it is not a big problem, but something which costs unneeded effort by a human: our Archivbot archives the interwikis when they are not on top of the page: e.g. 03:48, 13. Okt. 2007 until 21:10, 24. Okt. 2007 (11 days)
- Your bot puts the interwikis back: 19:53, 27. Okt. 2007, 27. Nov. 2007, ...
- But we humans always have to put the interwikis up again, so the Archivbot doesn't make the same again :-( If the interwikis stay always on top we won't have that problem. So we could also say the Archivbot should recognize this and not archive, but then also newcomers might edit/destroy the interwikis which are between posts. And here again we humans would have to repair this. What do you think - can there be done something ? You can better assess in what regards this makes problems on other pages/Wikiversities. ----Erkan Yilmaz benutzt den Wikiversity:Chat (versuch's mal) 21:14, 15. Jun. 2008 (CEST)
- So the better solution is to put the interwiki in the fist line, and all in line ? Crochet.david 21:18, 15. Jun. 2008 (CEST)
- To change the default formatting of interwiki links is no solution, interwiki link on the last lines is default and makes sens.
- Hard coding of exceptions is not a solution, that's to much work for you as bot operatur and us as users and that soltion would be inflexible. Not to speak about other bot operators, that need to use and update the seam list of exceptions.
- Could your bot read hidden commentaries and/or templates that contain instructions for his work?
- With instruction I mean things like "don't add interwikilinks", "place the Links on the top/bottom of the page" and so on.
- -- MichaelFrey 19:46, 16. Jun. 2008 (CEST)
- I've a better idea : Tell mediawiki to create a new tag as <interwikifix> </interwikifix> to require the placement of links to this place, and no other, and then asked to go pywikipediabot developers to request that robots make the link at the end of a file, unless there is this tag and then to place links inside them.Crochet.david 20:08, 16. - David was also so nice to find this solution until above is implemented: [3], ----Erkan Yilmaz benutzt den Wikiversity:Chat (versuch's mal) 22:13, 17. Jun. 2008 (CEST)

Dear Crochet.david
it is the same situation as in this (http://de.wikiversity.org/wiki/Datei:VerfolgungskurvenV01.pdf) case. Please read the entry of Michael Reschke or just contact him.

Dear David,
I would appreciate it very much if you could express your concerns about licenicing a bit more in the spirit of the project, even if your may be formally completely right. We are not planning copyright violations, even if in some cases we do not fulfill the exact conditions of a license, which I do not know. You can tell me directly what you think exactly the pdf-file should contain, and we will find a workable solution according to the licences, but in my opinion it is not necessary to work with deletion requests and talking about copyright violations to solve this issue. Best regards, --Bocardodarapti 20:02, 22. Apr. 2009 (CEST)
- All is writing here : Namensnennung. Sie müssen den Namen des Autors/Rechteinhabers in der von ihm festgelegten Weise nennen.
So you must indicate where you copy-from the text to make your PDF file and indicate the authors list. Look a PDF rendring with the Collection extension as this exemple, page 82 and after.Crochet.david 20:19, 22. Apr. 2009 (CEST)
My understanding of von ihm festgelegten Weise includes, that I as the author can step back from my right to be mention. As I am the only author (some spelling corrections doesn't count), I can use this right and then it seems in my opinion to be in accordance with the licence. The explanation of the pdf-files says that it is taken from the wikiversion. If you think if this is a wrong interpretation, we can discuss further, --Bocardodarapti 12:34, 23. Apr. 2009 (CEST)
- You can not change the license because of "sa" from "CC-by-sa". Crochet.david 18:25, 23. Apr. 2009 (CEST)
- Am i right that CC-Licenses are non-exclusive? In the case i am, Bocardodarapti can give further permissions if he is the only author. -- Turnvater Jahn Diskussion · Beiträge · Mail · WV Chat 01:16, 24. Apr. 2009 (CEST)
-
- That is also my understanding. Some people use here both CC + GFDL.--Bocardodarapti 13:45, 24. Apr. 2009 (CEST)
- CC-by or GFDL, in 2 cases, you must specify the list of authors.Crochet.david 17:03, 24. Apr. 2009 (CEST)
- That is also my understanding. Some people use here both CC + GFDL.--Bocardodarapti 13:45, 24. Apr. 2009 (CEST)

[Bearbeiten] Versionen 1 - 8
Da die Versionen alle fehlerhaft sind, möchte ich lieber, dass sie gelöscht werden. (Please remove the earlier versions because the have a lot of mistakes if you do not mind) Napoleon Schwan 11:31, 25. Apr. 2009 (CEST)
- I do not have the rights to delete this wiki. But you can request to remove the file concerned by appending this model by adding the explanation.Ich habe nicht die Rechte Streichung in diesem Wiki. Aber Sie können den Antrag auf Aufhebung der betreffenden Dateien, indem sie dieses Modell durch die Aufnahme der Erklärung. Crochet.david 11:40, 25. Apr. 2009 (CEST)
[Bearbeiten] Changes with small effect
Please don't use your bot for changes like Correction des encodages de caractère and please translate your edit comments into german or at least into english.
Change the codeing of the characters without other changes is very close to useless (Mediawiki convert them automatical) and mainly caused by one user: [4]
- Yes, but a bot read the exactly wiki text, so for a bot, the text is not convert and see
%C3%A4instead ofé. Crochet.david 14:15, 23. Jul. 2009 (CEST)
To say it clearly: If I see more often such useless changes, your bot will be blocked, as you fill change listes and create useless traffic.
Change of a link type could be more usefull: [5], but there is the problem that you do not coordinate that with the writes of this projects. On Wikipedia it's maybe nice ton have anything formated the same way. But on a project like wikiversity there are maybe reason to use an other type of link. For example if your printing out a page, a weblink will be printed with URL, but a wiki link not. And if you to such things: teach your bot that betwen same language wikis no language code is required. For example: w:Test is here the same as w:de:Test
- Yes, I try, but, for the moment, the bot make too lots of mistake.Crochet.david 14:16, 23. Jul. 2009 (CEST)
- I found a solution, but the final result does not appear the first time since the robot is forced to work 3 times in the text. And as I work with 'dump' and not on the text directly, this applies for 3 successive dumps, knowing that a dump is produced on average every 15 days. Crochet.david 13:44, 28. Jul. 2009 (CEST)
May it's also a good Idea to teach your bot that he shouldn't change disscusion like the Cafeteria or espacaly the archive.
- To prevent a bot to not work on a page, just add the Nobots template in-it. Crochet.david 14:15, 23. Jul. 2009 (CEST)

Please do not add more information to the pdf-files of the courses, everything is now written in the template {{Druckversion}}. These files should also not be moved to Commons, as they only make sense as the printed version of the course, an independent use is not possible. CC-by-sa 3.0 is also declared inside the template.
