Best Practice[Bearbeiten]

Quality[Bearbeiten]

About. The Center for Media and Democracy publishes SourceWatch, this collaborative resource for citizens and journalists looking for documented information about the corporations, industries, and people trying to influence public policy and public opinion. We believe in telling the truth about the most powerful interests in society—not just relating their self-serving press releases or letting real facts be bleached away by spin. With the help of volunteer editors, SourceWatch focuses on the for-profit corporations, non-profit corporate front groups, PR teams, and so-called "experts" trying to influence public opinion on behalf of global corporations and the government agencies they have captured. We also profile some of the individuals and groups shining a light on these PR campaigns and also feature clearinghouses for information about select "hot topics" (to your left).

Opinion Corner[Bearbeiten]

About. Discourse DB is a new kind of site: a database that uses the power and ease-of-use of wiki technology to collect the opinions of the world's journalists and commentators about ongoing political events and issues. Finally, there is a true "opinion roundup" - a single destination where anyone can go to see the nature of the debate on any political issue, whether current or historic. And editing the data, or adding new data, is free, easy and open to the public.

Semantic Wiki[Bearbeiten]

Comments[Bearbeiten]

  • The Collaboration extension enables the commenting and rating of wiki articles. Comments can be managed and retrieved via semantic queries.

Semantic Social Profile[Bearbeiten]

Semantic Social Profile

Semantic Social Profile represents social information of Social Profile extension as semantic annotations that are stored on a user’s userpage.

Access Control List

Access Control List is a powerful extension for protecting single wiki pages, articles in categories or namespaces and values of semantic properties. Access can be restricted for individual users or entire user groups. An intuitive GUI allows easy administration of access rights and user groups. It can also be connected to an external LDAP server and re-use the users and groups defined there.

Semantic Access Control

Semantic Access Control provides Group based access control. Access control is defined in template as internal object.

SemanticACL

Semantic ACL allows read and edit restrictions to be set on pages using SMW properties.
