About me
I joined the Foundation in May 2024, and I'm very passionate about building meaningful products for international communities. For the last 10 years I led product teams with a focus on localization and internationalization at 2-sided marketplaces, and before that I worked as a translator and simultaneous interpreter.
Though I'm originally from Germany, I've spent the last 20 years in California between the central coast, SF Bay Area, and the Sierra Nevada foothills. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and 2 sons, and I'm an avid reader.
My work
I am a group product manager, leading 4 Contributors teams at the Wikimedia Foundation (Editing, Growth, Campaigns, and Moderator Tools).
